Soy de Alemania.
Aunque originalmente soy nativa de Vietnam y he estado viviendo en Alemania desde que puedo recordar.
2) Que es lo que haces?
Tengo un diploma en Medios Audiovisuales e Ingeniería Multimedia y actualmente me encuentro trabajando en el área de videojuegos.
Luego en mi tiempo libre soy anfitriona y organizadora de mi comunidad "Candy Day", también pertenezco al equipo de Street Fashion Europe (SFE).
Actualmente la SFE esta trabajando para nuestro primer evento en colaboración con Londres para recibir a nuestros invitados, entre ellas Minori Hitori de Grimoire y también parte del staff de Atelier Pierrot en Abril de este 2014.
3) En cuanto al Lolita, cuanto hace que lo eres y cuales fueron tus primeros pasos dentro de la moda?
Las primeras fotos que vi sobre la moda Lolita por internet eran tristemente lo que consideramos actualmente como ITA.
Eso fue alrededor del 2006 y durante mucho tiempo pensé que eso era el Lolita. Estas imágenes me sorprendieron bastante y pues me compre mi primer vestido en blanco y negro que era demasiado corto y lleno de encaje barato, además llevaba orejas de gato y la verdad no me avergüenza admitirlo.
He recorrido un largo camino desde ese entonces ^_^
Años mas tarde conocí la revista "Gothic & Lolita Bible" y he aprendido mas sobre la moda, también en una revista shojo y en los foros de Internet. Luego me entere de la existencia de la tienda de Baby, the Stars Shine Bright en París y ahí compre mi primer prenda adecuada.
Eso fue por el 2009. Ahora cinco años mas tarde, creo que he desarrollado una buena comprensión de lo que es la moda Lolita.
4) Te consideras Lifestyle?
Soy una Lolita de fin de semana. Tampoco hay un código estricto de vestimenta en mi trabajo, pero prefiero reservar mis vestidos para mi tiempo libre y ocasiones especiales.
En lo personal no me gusta el uso casual del Lolita y yo necesitaría demasiado tiempo para estar lista cada mañana y llevar un coordinado listo en un santiamén.
5) Cual es tu marca favorita y tu estilo Lolita favorito?
Mis marcas preferidas son Baby, the Stars Shine Bright y Innocent World.
También me encantaba Angelic Pretty, pero de alguna manera fui perdiendo el interés en sus nuevas cosas y tampoco me interesan mucho mas acerca de esta marca.
Me afiance mas a mis prints de Angelic Pretty que a las cosas nuevas.
Mis estilos favoritos son el sweet, el sweet/classic y classic OTT.
6) Con que estilo Lolita te sientes mas cómoda y por que?
Sweet/classic, porque me gusta esa mezcla entre ternura y feminidad.
7) En que época del año te sientes mas cómoda vistiendo Lolita?
Definitivamente en Primavera,Otoño e Invierno.
En verano hace demasiado calor para usar tantas capas de ropa y por suerte me alegro de no vivir en una zona con clima tropical.
La primavera es maravillosa para usar colores claros, después en otoño es mas ideal para usar colores ricos, y luego lo que mas me gusta del invierno es poder usar mis abrigos.
También soy fanática de los prints navideños, así que de seguro mi estación favorita sin dudas sea el invierno.
8) Tienes anécdotas agradables y desagradables vistiendo Lolita por la calle?
Por supuesto, he tenido encuentros tanto agradables y desagradables mientras he usado Lolita por la calle.
Me han gritado, se me han reído, pero gracias a eso he aprendido a crecer y crearme una coraza de piel gruesa.
Me gusta recordar solo las cosas agradables y tomarlas como elogios que en su mayoría vienen de señoras de edad y de las niñas.
9) Que significa tu apodo?
Se basa en Harley Quinn, un personaje de Batman. También me gustan los personajes de circo.
Harlekin es en alemán y significa Harlequin.
10) Tienes alguna Lolita o mas que te inspiren?
Si, mis amigos, las Lolitas locales, y las que conozco por las redes sociales.
Pero en si no tengo un ídolo a seguir, pero si me inspiran todas las Lolitas que andan alrededor del mundo.
11) Que consejo puedes dar a las personas que están entrando en el Lolita?
Que no tengan miedo de comenzar.
De los errores hay que aprender. Hagan sus investigaciones con respecto a la moda, miren coordinados para inspirarse y experimentar por cuenta propia, y tampoco sean tímidos a la hora de pedir consejos.
1) From which country you come from?
I am from Germany.
Though I am a native Vietnamese I have been living in Germany as long as I can remember.
2) What do you do?
I have a diploma in Audiovisual Media/Media Engineering. Currently I work in the games industry.
In my spare time I am an host/organizer for my local lolita comm CANDY DAY and I am also part of the Street Fashion Europe ( SFE ) team. SFE is currently working on our first collaborative event in London featuring special guests Minori, Hitomi from Grimoire and Atelier Pierrot in April 2014.
3) Regarding lolita,What got you into lolita and how were your first steps following this fashion?
The first pictures I saw about lolita fashion on the internet were sadly what we would consider ITA.
That was around 2006. For a long time I thought this was lolita. These pictures impressed me a lot and I bought a black and white dress which was way too short and covered in cheap lace. I also wore cat ears and I am not too embarrased to admit that.
I have gone a long way since then I think ^_^
Years later I discovered the GLB and learned more about lolita fashion in a shojo magazine and on internet forums. Then I found the Btssb shop in Paris and bought my first proper lolita dress there.
That was 2009. Now five years later I believe I have developed a good understanding what lolita fashion is.
4 )Do you consider yourself a Lolita lifestyler? If not,what does Lolita mean to you?
I am a week-end lolita. There is no strict dress code at my job but I´d rather save my dresses for my freetime and special occassions. I don´t like wearing casual lolita and I would need way too much time to make myself ready in the mornings to wear full blown lolita.
I am usually a very sensible and responsible person but lolita is my personal way to relax and to forget about my daily chores.
5) What is your favorite brand and what is your favorite Lolita style?
Baby the Stars Shine Bright and Innocent World.
I used to love Angelic Pretty very fiercly but somehow I lost interest in their current releases and I don´t care much about them anymore. I sill love my older AP prints though.
My favorite styles are sweet, sweet-classic and OTT classic.
6) Lolita genre that you feel most comfortable and why?
Sweet - Classic. I like the mixture of cuteness and femininity.
7) In that season of the year you feel more comfortable using lolita?
Definitively spring, fall and winter. Summer is way too hot to wear all these layers and I am glad I don´t live in a tropic climate zone.
Spring is wonderful for wearing light colors, fall is great for rich colors and I love winter because I love my winter coats. I am also a big fan of winter/christmas prints. So probably winter is my favorite season for lolita.
8) You have had pleasant and unpleasant anecdotes down the street wearing lolita? Like that?
Why of course, I had both pleasant and unpleasant encounters while wearing lolita on the street.
I got yelled at and being laughed at but I learned to grow myself a thick skin.
I like to remember the pleasant memories like compliments, mostly coming from older ladys and little girls.
9) That means your nickname?
It´s based on Harley Quinn, a character from the Batman series. I like circus characters.
Harlekin is German and means Harlequin.
10) Have any one or more of lolita that inspire you?
Yes, my friends, local lolitas, lolitas I know from the internet.
I don´t have an idol but I take inspirations from many lolitas from all over the world.
11) What would be your advice for all new entrants to lolita?
Don´t be scared to start somewhere. Mistakes are there to be learned from.
Make your research about the fashion, look at coordinations but you can only improve by actually experimenting on your own. Don´t be shy to ask for advice!
